Goddess of November

Here's my entry to this weeks CHOW (Character of the Week) contest over at ConceptArt.org.

The topic was "Seasons" and I chose FALL because it's my birthday season I'm actually very pleased with how this turned out - very close to the vision in my head.

To me, November is always kind of depressing. It has a certain dismal quality to it, like a journey without an end in sight. Here in Canada November is usually marked by rain, wind, overcast skies, brown leaves on the ground, and the tip of winter's chill. I'm not saying it's a bad month though - in fact I kind of enjoy the character of the weather at this time. There IS a character at this time.
